Unicorn Birthday Party with FREE PRINTABLES!
Unicorn First Birthday Party!
First birthdays are one of our favorite parties to host! Such a sweet time to celebrate and remember all the milestones of the first year of life, it’s a big one! This little princess had a unicorn birthday theme and it was so fun to put together!
The INVITATIONS:
We were so happy to get our printable invitations again from JenPenguinDesigns Etsy shop. She does such a fabulous job and is awesome to work with. You can find the unicorn invitation here. Her invitations are so easy to order through her etsy shop, they are great quality and easy to print at home to be delivered to your party guests!
The DECOR:
There are so many cute unicorn party decorations out these days. We were happy to find this unicorn birthday kit that included so many things we used in our party. The unicorn birthday balloons, happy birthday banner, unicorn photo backdrop, hanging swirls, plates and cups, tablecloth and more were all in this one kit, it was perfect and so pretty! We also used this this unicorn happy birthday banner.
**We don’t have a picture of this, but we love to celebrate all the changes that happen throughout the first year with a 12 month banner. We loved the look of this gold one to add our pictures to for this party.
We added these 1st birthday balloons to the balloon arch and added an adorable self standing foil unicorn balloon like this one to the table. We also added large 1 centerpieces like these to the tablescape.
Now for the highchair and the place where our darling birthday girl would eat her cake! We used a pink and iridescent white fringe backdrop like this one, added this “one” banner to the front of the highchair and finished it off with the 1st birthday balloons and “ONE” foil balloons like these. We think it turned out so cute!
The birthday girl also sported this this adorable first birthday unicorn outfit. It came with the onsie and skirt, it was perfect for her big day and one year pictures the following week.
The PARTY ACTIVITIES:
This party was for a one year old so most of the party was mingling, eating cake, and enjoying our little one. However, we did have a few little kids so we had to play pin the horn on the unicorn, which is always a hit with little kids!
The FAVOR:
We always love a good favor and every kid loves blind bag surprises. We found these fun unicorn theme surprise poppers and attached THIS FREE UNICORN THANK YOU PRINTABLE! The kids were loving the surprise and the anticipation to see what they received.
Lastly, we thought we would share this one gift idea that went with the unicorn theme. This Vtech riding unicorn has been the best toy! Our little birthday girl has been loving this; it can be used as a rocker and then transitions into a riding toy. Just an idea:)
