Princess Tea Party Activities with FREE PRINTABLES!
THE INVITATION:
We first sent out these darling invitations that we found at this Etsy shop Touchedbydesign. She was so great to work with and had the file ready with quick turn around time. I loved the look of these invites. We invited the girls to come dressed as their favorite princess.
THE PARTY DETAILS:
When our guests arrived, they were welcomed to the Tea Party and were able to pick out some jewelry, crown, and accessories. This princess jewelry set was amazing and great quality for everything it came with. We had a special birthday crown and birthday sash for the birthday girl. We found our crown and sash at Walmart, but there are many cute options out there including this one.
This princess jewelry set really was great variety and very pretty. It came with all the necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets, sceptars, and crowns.
THE ACTIVITIES with FREE PRINTABLES
The idea was for the girls to arrive in their princess dresses and go around to different stations getting ready to go to the Tea Party. We had all of the guests at the table where we did activities including making a crown with stickers, mirror with jewels, and their own necklace. As the girls were working on these activities, we would pull them individually aside to come to the hair, makeup, and nail stations. It definitely will run smoother if you have multiple people available to run each station depending on the number of guests.
- CROWN MAKING: This was a fun activity. We had went to Burger King and asked for some extra crowns. We brought them home and spray painted them gold. Do this the day before so they can dry and air out. Then we placed them around the table with all sorts of different stickers. The kids liked the stickers, but loved these clear rhinestone stickers and these colored rhinestone stickers. We also had a bowl of permanent markers that they could draw with as well.
- JEWELED MIRROR
-
- The next activity were these jeweled mirrors. These foam mirrors come in different colors and rhinestone stickers. It was neat to see how each girl decorated their mirror, they were all so different and unique.
- NECKLACE
- Lastly, the girls made necklaces with bead kits. We gave each girl a Disney Princess plate for their beads and string and they happily made name or princess necklaces. Here is the Disney princess necklace kit and here is the letter necklace kit.
- HAIR STATION:
- The hair station was pretty simple. We just did buns for all of the girls and curled a few pieces around their faces.
- MAKE-UP STATION:
- We also kept the make-up super simple. We let them pick an eyeshadow color and then we let them pick a lipgloss that they got to take home. These Disney Princess lip smackers are also a cute idea.
- FAVORS:
- We found these favor bags for the girls to put their lipgloss and activities in to bring them home. There are also cute Disney favor options to add to the bags.
It really was such a memorable birthday! We hope these ideas will be helpful for you with the FREE PRINTABLES if you ever want to host a princess tea party!
