Halloween Party
What is your absolute favorite holiday? We 100% love Halloween! We love to decorate for it, experience all the fall activities, and have a fabulous Halloween Party! This year we decided to have a fine dining Halloween Party and it sure was a spooktacular time!
Table decor: We love a good deal so we always check the dollar store first for any party we host. If you do this as well, then you know the good stuff goes quick so you have to be shopping almost one holiday ahead. We lucked out when we stopped by and found most of our table decor (skeleton cups, skeleton goblets, black table cloth, skeleton table runner, chain, skull, skeleton votives, spiderweb mat, black flowers, and these awesome skeleton chair covers). Fill cups with a little water, glowing ice cube, and a small piece of dry ice for this stunning visual effect! Dry ice does best in plastic cups, it can crack glass and doesn’t do too well in metal just FYI. Glowing ice cubes found here.
We loved how the skull with black flowers turned out. Both of these items were at the dollar store. We just cut a hole in the plastic skull, filled it with rocks so it wouldn’t tip over, and arranged the flowers. It turned out beautifully!
Food: We decided on a 5 course dining experience. We listed out what we used as our dishes, but you could switch up the dishes. Find the FREE PRINTABLE we created here.
First Course: Poison Apple and Snail Slime (cored apple slices with caramel).
Second Course: Heartbeat Salad and Mummy Glue (simple salad with a beet in the shape of a heart served with a side of salad dressing in a syringe).
Third Course: Count Dracula Vampire Blood (Black Cherry Jello inside a syringe. Just make sure you set it up with the tip pointing up so they don’t leak out). These syringes were found in the Halloween section at Walmart.
Fourth Course: Fried Intestines (Chicken Katsu), Smoked Zombie Brains (Pork), Grave Digger Salad (Macaroni Salad), Ghost Dandruff (Rice), and Goblin Drool (Sauce). This course isn’t pictured.
Fifth Course: Graveyard Buffet (multiple desserts, some shown below).
This skeleton with his guts was a show stopper! We will be posting more about this and where to find the recipe. It is a version of cinnamon rolls.
Candy and Donuts from Krispy Kreme, special design for Halloween.
The teenagers loved these marshmallow and pretzel skeletons.
